Dance in the Alleyway - or, the song with the shifting name
"I'm wrong for you right now / you were right for me somehow..."
If anyone can tell or if it even matters, I’ve changed my “artist” name and the name of my songs a lot of times. No one needs for me to list them all out. This particular song was once called “Unleash the Ultimate Attack,” when I wrote it for the Equines. In 2019, I recorded and retitled it, as “Dance in the Alleyway,” as a solo production at Home Throne Studios in Olympia, Washington. I filmed a whole music video. Then COVID happened, then I finally released it in 2022, ill-timed on the landing of a major hurricane. Needless to say the “release strategy” was to upload it to Spotify and… hold on to my hat.
Another coupla years later I decided I wanted to do a dance remix of this song, but upon reopening the tracks realized my creatively looped string-strum “drum track” was a little too creative to be able to be matched by any other mechanized beat. So I decided to re-record it again… and re-title it. Again. :) So, until that version is released, here are the two others!
